Meet Mark Coon
Lead Technician & Owner
Devoted husband, dedicated family man, and father of two, Mark has always had a passion for all his endeavors. Mark had a curiosity for how things worked from an early age, and he wasn’t shy about finding out what made things “tick.” He was constantly taking things apart and putting them back together – hands-on all the way. And he learned early on the importance of paying attention to details. In addition to the skills mentioned, he also became adept at listening to a customer’s desires on a project (or, more importantly, his wife’s ideas!)
Growing up, Mark’s father managed a major flooring company. He was in charge of project planning and daily contractor activities. Being in charge, his father heard the good and the bad on all projects and, with the latter, had to make things right. While he couldn’t change “tenacious” contractors that were set in their ways, he knew he had a unique opportunity with Mark to instill the proper work habits and ethics to be successful- and it worked!
So, from the age of 14, Mark began to learn the trade. Mark became determined to be the very best at every job he performed. Whether installing a floor, changing out a water tank, or cleaning the shop floor, the job was done correctly the first time without any of the tell-tale signs of “contractor droppings.”
As Mark progressed in his career, so too did his interest in all facets of home improvement. As he began observing and learning from other tradesmen on projects, he soon realized he needed to fully challenge himself. So he took a position with a national plumbing outfit and took to it like a fish in water!
Much of his job satisfaction came from seeing the faces of happy, satisfied customers. At this point, Mark’s vision of increasing customer satisfaction was crystallizing, and in 2016, it became a reality with the formation of L & C Home Investments, LLC. After many years of success, a new venture, Ultimate Home Resolutions & Remodeling Inc, was formed.
